A poll of U.S. opinion toward the United Nations conducted by the United Nations Foundation and the Better World Campaign finds that some 60% of Americans look upon the world body favorably, with 85% saying it is important for the U.S. to be active at the UN.

The results — which also show that 69% of Americans support paying peacekeeping dues on time, and in full — are virtually unchanged since last year. Click here for a news release on the polling from the Better World Campaign. Click here for the full findings. UN Dispatch (5/23)
